Kurzbeschreibung des Verlags

The setting for this Christmas-season drama is a vandalized nativity scene in the middle of a large city. All that remains of the nativity is the stable, hay, and manger. A woman, Barbara, is frustrated with the holidays and in particular a home in turmoil. While carrying just-bought gifts home, she breaks the heel on her shoe, sits on a park bench, and encounters Vivian, a bag lady. Vivian has taken up residency in the "stable." Through the course of their conversation, Barbara moves from fear and disgust to actually confiding in, and having true compassion for Vivian. Vivian's homespun wisdom and quiet simple view of Jesus deeply touch Barbara-and the audience.Topics: CHRISTMASCharacters: 2 FEMALESParticipants: 2Author: Donna Lagerquist
