Kurzbeschreibung des Verlags

'Freddie' Flintoff is perhaps the best-known cricketer in the world, and definitely the most loved in the UK. Widely considered the greatest English all-rounder since Ian Botham, bars at cricket grounds immediately empty the moment he approaches the wicket. It was victory in the 2005 Ashes series that cemented Flintoff's place at the nation's heart, with his stunning performances helping ensure the Ashes were regained for the first time in eighteen years. ASHES TO ASHES is the story of the highs and lows of Flintoff's life since that sensational summer, which has been followed by both fantastic performances and cruel luck with injuries. This is the revealing and honest account of a tumultuous period in his career, describing both the joys and the disappointments Flintoff has experienced both on and off the field. Flintoff will reveal the fascinating inside story of the greatest cricketing competition on the planet. ASHES TO ASHES is a must-read for all cricket fans.
