Kurzbeschreibung des Verlags

Architects, fire safety engineers, and sustainability experts are among those practitioners engaging new technologies for simulation in an evolving search for the roles and relationships that can bring both professional acceptance and greater control over architecture. Organized around accounts of professional designers, this book explores the emerging cultures of computer simulation in architecture. By illustrating how practices of simulation inform the social relationships and conceptual distinctions that define the way contemporary architecture is both designed and experienced, the book examines the cultural transformations taking place in architectural practice today
