Cannon-Flashes And Pen-Dashes is a book written by Richard Henry Greene and published in 1866. The book is a collection of essays and sketches that offer a glimpse into the author's perspective on various topics, including politics, literature, and social issues. The title of the book is a reference to the author's dual career as a journalist and a soldier. The book is divided into several sections, each focusing on a different theme. Some of the essays are humorous and satirical, while others are serious and contemplative. Overall, Cannon-Flashes And Pen-Dashes is a fascinating look at the mind of a writer and soldier during a tumultuous period in American history. This scarce antiquarian book is a facsimile reprint of the old original and may contain some imperfections such as library marks and notations.
