Kurzbeschreibung des Verlags

""The Will For The Deed: A Comedy In Three Acts"" is a play written by Thomas Dibdin and first performed in 1805. The story follows the character of Sir Edward Bloomly, a wealthy but eccentric landowner who is determined to marry off his daughter to a man who shares his passion for hunting. However, his daughter has other ideas and falls in love with a young man who is not interested in hunting at all. As the plot unfolds, the characters must navigate their way through misunderstandings, mistaken identities, and romantic entanglements to reach a happy ending. With its witty dialogue, lively characters, and comedic situations, ""The Will For The Deed"" is a classic example of a Regency-era comedy of manners. This scarce antiquarian book is a facsimile reprint of the old original and may contain some imperfections such as library marks and notations.
