Kurzbeschreibung des Verlags

Detective Bobby Marino is back with his elite squad of detectives. In this twisting thriller his team is involved with the DEA in a raid on a major heroin kingpin and the mob family that supplies his organization. Millions in drug monies are stolen during the raid and the drug kingpin seeks revenge. Cops, DEA agents, informants, drug dealers and users are all being viciously killed and Marino is next on the list. When his family comes under attack, he can only trust his closest friends for help. Arrested and disgraced for trying to protect himself, he has no choice but to fight back. And when the mob gets after him, he turns to one of their own, an old friend since childhood, who tries to help him out but only succeeds in drawing more fuel to the fire. Marino finds himself a hunted man with a bounty on his head. It's a move that the bad guys just don't make against a cop, unless they've been pushed to the edge, and that's just what Marino did. Now there's a contract on a cop.
