Kurzbeschreibung des Verlags

Grief Guts and Grace offers guidance and strength to those struggling with grief and loss. Joan shares practical wisdom gained while working through her grief when Bradley, her husband of twenty-nine years, died of a brain tumor. She shares many real life examples of the day to day struggles many widows face; from how she found a new place in the bed, to using up the last tube of toothpast they shared. These may appear trival to some; but to a new widow - obstacles to overcome. Too often we are told that "time will heal," but it's not time that heals - its what you do with that time that does the healing work. This work of grieving is important if you ever hope to be whole and find youir life worth living again. The process is different for everyone; by having the guts to face your grief, God will give you the grace to survive your loss and ultimately, to reclaim your joy.
