Kurzbeschreibung des Verlags

Discover a God Who Wants to Give You Beauty for Your Ashes. Have you ever been disappointed by God? Have you ever been angry with Him? Have you ever wondered if you could really trust Him? Karen Freres takes us on a journey to show what it looks like to lose everything. She navigates through uncharted territory with a God who allows so much disappointment, pain, and trauma. Eventually, she finds the beauty and healing God desires for each of us. Karen was a devoted mother and wife, only believing and wanting the best for her family when she received a phone call that changed her life forever. This proved to be the catalyst for her journey into the wilderness with God. In sharing her painful yet hopeful testimony, Karen highlights the raw emotions and dark seasons we all go through when we lose what is most precious to us. In this book, she examines the process of forgiving a God who allowed so much pain, and ultimately, how He surrounds us no matter what we face.
