Kurzbeschreibung des Verlags

Most people see the world as it is meant to be, but a fortunate few see things a bit off-kilter. Ken Anderson is one of those lucky ones. Delectably offbeat, humorous, and tinged with just a touch of the absurd, The Stifled Piper and Other Strange Characters reflects his quirky views in verse.Inspired by everyday life but magnified with a vivid imagination, Anderson's world is populated by memorable title characters, including: "The Stifled Piper", whose wife tamed his fearsome bagpipe playing with cotton and oatmeal; "The Frozen Skier", on a midwinter, cross-country ski vacation in Winthrop, Washington; and "The Caledonian Chopper", a demon terrorizing the roads astride his hellish motorbike. You'll laugh, you'll scratch your head, and you'll look at your every day with a refreshingly light-hearted irreverence.
