Kurzbeschreibung des Verlags

In Spirit Warrior, Donald Wigton Jr. celebrates his life as a hunter and a Christian. In a series of stories that blend spirituality and nature, he recounts tales that only hard-core outdoorsmen can relate to: the buck that got away, the rattlesnake's venomous bite, or simply the glory of God's beautiful Earth. When Wigton comes between a bear and her cubs in "Bear Bait," he finds his soul-soothing Sunday quickly transformed into a think-fast-or-die situation. He is soon pinned under the bear, fighting for his life, but quick thinking and a generous dose of prayer save him from death. This seasoned seeker's perspective has a magical way of placing readers in the midst of each fascinating story.Wigton urges hunters to give back-instead of just taking-to preserve the world as we know it, for truly spiritual hunters understand that someday all of God's creatures will be one in the spirit world. Learn how to seek God within yourself and nature as he shares poems that celebrate the glory of the Lord, of hunting, and of the spiritual realm.
