Kurzbeschreibung des Verlags

Over the years Michele Sbrana has enjoyed the privilege of having a voice in the lives of young women. She's long since lost track of what books she recommended and who she told about her ice popsicle idea so she's jotted down some thoughts, experiences and bits of advice she's given or received.Praise for To My Friend on the Occasion of Becoming a Mother"A delightfully entertaining book! It's one of my greatest treasures since becoming a mother. Michele addresses the joys and obstacles of parenting in ways that warm my heart and makes me laugh out loud. This book is packed with wonderfully creative advice for every step of the way. Keep it out where you can see it-you'll want a daily dose!"Abby Anderson, Humorist, mother to Soren and YoungLife staff."From the whimsical, 'Put your kids in overalls as long as possible.' To the realistic, 'Kids shouldn't get paid for daily chores. You don't, so why should they?' To the uncanny, 'Throw your TV in the lake.' This book reminds me of why I had my first child, and inspires me to have my fourth."Gen Marquette, Mother to Meran, Poet, and Aura Productions founder.
