Über den Autor

Die Schriftstellerin und Journalistin Pauline Sara Jo „Jojo“ Moyes wurde 1969 in London geboren. Nachdem Moyes ihr Journalistik-Studium absolviert hatte, arbeitete sie für die "Sunday Morning Post" in Hong Kong und den "Independent" in London. Ihr Debütroman erschien 2002 unter dem Titel "Die Frauen von Kilcarrion". Jojo Moyes ist die Autorin mehrerer Bestseller, darunter die bekannte "Lou & Will"-Reihe ("Ein ganzes halbes Jahr", "Ein ganz neues Leben" und "Mein Herz in zwei Welten"), "Ein Bild von dir" und "Weit weg und ganz nah". Mit ihren in über 46 Sprachen übersetzten Romanen konnte Moyes bereits mehr als 38 Millionen Ausgaben weltweit verkaufen. "Ein ganzes halbes Jahr" wurde außerdem 2016 mit Sam Claflin und Emilia Clarke in den Hauptrollen verfilmt. Jojo Moyes lebt gemeinsam mit ihrer Familie in Essex.
