Using colourful illustrations, David Cooke explains the history of Dinky Toys, which were created by Frank Hornby, the Liverpool entrepreneur who also masterminded Meccano and Hornby Trains. This introduction to one of the best-known and -loved ranges of toys is ideal both for toy collectors and for those with a nostalgic interest in the toys of yesteryear.
