Kurzbeschreibung des Verlags

Fyodor Mikhailovich Dostoevsky (1821-1881) continues to be one of the writers most focused upon in academia throughout the world. With the opening in the 1990s and after of numerous archives in the former Soviet Union, much new material came to light that had not yet been incorporated in published works or standard curricula. The Dostoevsky Archive comprehensively documents the entire life of the Russian novelist, using contemporary Russian source documents, the author's own letters and notes and those of his family, and the memoirs of his contemporaries. This fullscale reference work includes a detailed chronology, an annotated bibliography, and brief biographies of important contemporaries. Fully indexed.
