The third edition has been fully updated and expanded to include more countries, and is the result of collaboration between the International Rice Research Institute (IRRI), West Africa Rice Development Association (WARDA), Centro Internacional de Agricultura Tropical (CIAT) and the Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) of the United States.
