Kurzbeschreibung des Verlags

This collection of essays from eight of the most respected academics in the field brings together a number of critical perspectives to focus on the signal work of a 21st century Ghanaian writer. Amma Darko is recognized in these interdisciplinary critiques as a significant writer whose storytelling talent documents the continent's globalization pains. What is revealed is a writer who knows how to tell a good story yet confident enough in her art to deliver a stinging and unflinching criticism of what Ghana has become.
