Kurzbeschreibung des Verlags

"Judge, I'm the dummy that shot the dummy!" Joel Glover nearly bit a hole in his lip to keep from laughing when the defendant approached the judge's bench and made that statement. The wildlife law violator was telling the truth. The "dummy" he referred to was the deer decoy, which was probably the greatest advancement in wildlife law enforcement in our lifetime. Working alongside the game warden that created wildlife decoys in Alabama was a real blessing. Not only did he teach Glover how to utilize the decoy, he also inspired him to exert the extra effort needed to conduct investigations and build cases that would stand up to scrutiny. In Good Ole Boys Shooting Decoys, Glover tells how the decoy facilitated violator apprehensions both day and night. While the author definitely dealt with some bad, armed, and dangerous people, most of the folks were just good ole boys.In his follow-up to Parables from Poachers and It's Not Easy Wearing Green, Glover details how the deer decoy became a staple for game wardens across the country. Come along on an exciting, humorous, nail-biting wild ride with good ole boys shooting decoys and a little bit of everything else. A lot of stuff you just can't make up.
