Kurzbeschreibung des Verlags

A rare collection of nearly 200 enthralling, authentic bushwhacker anecdotes, most of which are superbly illustrated by a handful of celebrated African artists. There are over 50 mainly African contributors from all walks of life including famous conservationists, legendary game guides and bestseller authors. This collectors item will intrigue and entertain the very young and the very old and everyone else in-between. It will bring memories flooding back to those who live or have lived in African and inspire those who haven't, to go to Africa. The authenticity, unbelievable in many instances may, to the uninitiated, even be educational. It will allow you into the minds of those who have experienced human-wildlife interactions hardly heard of before, which makes it all the more special. These wonderful tales about to fade into the oblivion of time as with many species of wildlife nearing extinction, needed to be 'captured' and saved forever. There is little doubt that this book is unique; there is very little else with which it can be compared. A perfect example that fact is indeed stranger than fiction.
