What do you do in the middle of the night when you wake up with words running through your head? That's what got me started on this book. I woke up in the middle of the night; not "kind of awake" but outright-wide-awake-conscientiously-knowing-what's-going-on awake! In my head was a whirlwind of words! All kinds of words flying through, not in sentences and with no relationship to each other, other than the alphabet itself. I realized there had to be a reason for this. So I got up and wrote down as many of the words as I could catch and remember. Knowing there had to be a reason but with no other understanding I put the list away. Much later, I pulled that list out and for some unknown reason the writing began. I've had so much fun writing this book I decided it was time to share it. I've felt for a long time that if each day I could make just one person smile or chuckle or laugh I'd done something good. I hope when you've red this book you'll read it again and recommend it as a good reed to others. Once you've read it you'll understand the spelling; it's not a misprint! Be careful not to laugh if you're eating (or drinking) your toast!
