Kurzbeschreibung des Verlags

This provocative work challenges many of the assumptions held by traditional Catholic scholars about the origins and development of the Eucharist. It argues that the practice of kneeling before the Host was not a part of the original Christian tradition, and was instead introduced much later by a corrupt and authoritarian hierarchy. The book is sure to stimulate debate and dissent among scholars and laypeople alike. This work has been selected by scholars as being culturally important, and is part of the knowledge base of civilization as we know it.This work is in the "public domain in the United States of America, and possibly other nations.
