Kurzbeschreibung des Verlags

Rapper. Singer. Actor. Wrestler. Fashion icon. All-round good guy. It's official: the biggest Latin trap star in the world in 2025 is... Bad Bunny! Since gliding stylishly out of Puerto Rico in 2018, he's redefined Latin music globally, credited with pushing Spanish-language rap into the mainstream. His 2022 smash album Un Verano Sin Ti ruled the US Billboard charts for 13 weeks - the first all-Spanish album to do so. With three Grammy awards, eleven Latin Grammy Awards and eight Billboard Music Awards, his collection of accolades and other staggering statistics speak for themselves. Unapologetically authentic, genre-bending, and proudly Puerto Rican, Bad Bunny has become more than just a star and cultural icon, he's the undisputed King of Latin Trap. It's Bad Bunny, baby!SAMPLE QUOTES"I wasn't the kid who got involved in the streets. I liked to be at home with my family." - Bad Bunny, on being a good boy growing up in Vega Baja, Puerto Rico, Rolling Stone, May 14, 2020"My sound is the sound of now, and of the future. It's a party, it's nostalgia, it's struggle... it's romance." - Bad Bunny, when asked 'What does your music sound like to you?', i-D, September 10, 2025SAMPLE FACTSBad Bunny's now-iconic stage name has surprisingly cute origins! As a child, he once dressed up as a bunny for school, but looked so grumpy in the photo his mom took of him that friends teased him as a 'bad bunny'. The nickname stuck - and a legend was born!
