Kurzbeschreibung des Verlags

Betwixt Two Seas: Poems And Ballads, Written At Constantinople And Therapia (1900) is a collection of poems and ballads written by Violet Fane during her stay in Constantinople and Therapia. Fane was an English poet and writer who travelled extensively and wrote about her experiences. In this book, she captures the beauty and mystery of the Ottoman Empire, its people, and its culture. The poems are written in a romantic and lyrical style, and they evoke the sights, sounds, and smells of Constantinople and Therapia. Some of the themes explored in the book include love, nature, history, and spirituality. The poems are accompanied by illustrations that add to the overall aesthetic appeal of the book. Betwixt Two Seas is a testament to Fane's talent as a poet and her ability to capture the essence of a place and its people through her writing. This scarce antiquarian book is a facsimile reprint of the old original and may contain some imperfections such as library marks and notations.
