Kurzbeschreibung des Verlags

Gorboduc, Or Ferrex And Porrex: A Tragedy is a play written by Thomas Norton in 1561. The play is set in ancient Britain and tells the story of the two sons of King Gorboduc, Ferrex and Porrex, who fight for the throne after their father's death. The play explores themes of power, loyalty, and betrayal, and is considered to be one of the earliest examples of English tragedy. Norton's version of the play was first published in 1565, and this edition from 1883 includes an introduction and notes by the editor, as well as a glossary of archaic terms. The book is a valuable resource for students and scholars of early English literature and drama. This scarce antiquarian book is a facsimile reprint of the old original and may contain some imperfections such as library marks and notations.
