Kurzbeschreibung des Verlags

""Concessions of Liberalists to Orthodoxy"" is a book written by Daniel Dorchester and published in 1878. The book explores the relationship between liberalists and orthodox Christians, particularly in the United States during the 19th century. Dorchester argues that liberalists have made significant concessions to orthodox Christianity, particularly in their acceptance of the authority of the Bible, the divinity of Jesus Christ, and the importance of personal salvation. He also examines the ways in which liberalists have sought to reconcile their beliefs with traditional Christian teachings, and the impact that this has had on the wider religious landscape. Drawing on a range of sources, including theological texts, sermons, and public debates, Dorchester provides a detailed and nuanced analysis of this complex and often contentious relationship. This book is a valuable resource for anyone interested in the history of religion in the United States, as well as for those seeking to understand the ongoing debates between liberal and orthodox Christians. This scarce antiquarian book is a facsimile reprint of the old original and may contain some imperfections such as library marks and notations.
