Kurzbeschreibung des Verlags

""Eastern Africa As A Field For Missionary Labor"" is a collection of four letters written by Bartle Frere to the Archbishop of Canterbury in 1874. In these letters, Frere, a British colonial administrator, makes a case for the importance of missionary work in Eastern Africa. He argues that the region is in need of Christian influence and that missionaries have the potential to make a significant impact on the people and cultures of the area. Frere also discusses the challenges and opportunities that come with missionary work in Eastern Africa, including the need for education and the potential for conflict with local customs and beliefs. The book provides a fascinating insight into the mindset of colonial administrators and their relationship with religion and missionary work in the late 19th century. It is a valuable resource for anyone interested in the history of Christian missions or the impact of colonialism on Africa.""This scarce antiquarian book is a facsimile reprint of the old original and may contain some imperfections such as library marks and notations.
