Kurzbeschreibung des Verlags

""Notes By The Bishop Of Natal On An Examination Of Part One Of His Work On The Pentateuch (1863)"" is a book written by John William Colenso, who was the Bishop of Natal in South Africa. The book is a collection of notes that Colenso made while examining the first part of his work on the Pentateuch, which is the first five books of the Hebrew Bible. The notes cover a range of topics related to the Pentateuch, including the authorship of the books, their historical accuracy, and their theological significance. Colenso was a controversial figure in his time, and his views on the Pentateuch were considered heretical by some. This book provides a window into his thinking on the subject, and is an important historical document for scholars of biblical studies and theology. This scarce antiquarian book is a facsimile reprint of the old original and may contain some imperfections such as library marks and notations. Because we believe this work is culturally important, we have made it available as part of our commitment for protecting, preserving, and promoting the world's literature in affordable, high quality, modern editions, that are true to their original work.
