Kurzbeschreibung des Verlags

The Gospel of Saint John: In West-Saxon (1904) is a religious text that presents the Gospel of John in the West-Saxon dialect of Old English. The book is attributed to St. John, one of the twelve apostles of Jesus Christ. It is a translation of the original Greek text of the Gospel of John, which is one of the four canonical gospels in the New Testament. The West-Saxon dialect was a prominent language in England during the 10th and 11th centuries, and this translation was an attempt to make the gospel accessible to the people of that time. The text contains the teachings and miracles of Jesus Christ, as well as his crucifixion and resurrection. The book is a valuable resource for scholars of Old English language and literature, as well as those interested in the history and development of Christianity. This scarce antiquarian book is a facsimile reprint of the old original and may contain some imperfections such as library marks and notations. Because we believe this work is culturally important, we have made it available as part of our commitment for protecting, preserving, and promoting the world's literature in affordable, high quality, modern editions, that are true to their original work.
