Kurzbeschreibung des Verlags

Intellect, The Emotions, And The Moral Nature is a philosophical treatise written by William Lyall in 1855. The book explores the relationship between the intellect, emotions, and moral nature of human beings. Lyall argues that the intellect and emotions are intimately connected and that the moral nature is the result of their interaction. He also examines the role of education in shaping the moral character of individuals and society as a whole. The book is divided into three parts, each focusing on one of the three elements: intellect, emotions, and moral nature. Lyall draws on a range of philosophical and scientific ideas, including those of Immanuel Kant, David Hume, and Charles Darwin, to develop his arguments. The book is considered a significant contribution to the study of ethics and moral psychology and remains relevant to contemporary debates in these fields. This scarce antiquarian book is a facsimile reprint of the old original and may contain some imperfections such as library marks and notations.
