Star of Emancipation is a book written by the Massachusetts Emancipation Society in 1841. The book is a collection of speeches and essays advocating for the abolition of slavery in the United States. The authors argue that slavery is a moral and social evil that violates the principles of freedom and equality upon which the country was founded. The book also includes historical accounts of the slave trade and the experiences of enslaved people, as well as discussions of the economic and political implications of abolishing slavery. The Massachusetts Emancipation Society was one of the leading abolitionist organizations of the time, and their work helped to shape public opinion and policy on slavery in the United States.
