Kurzbeschreibung des Verlags

The Morality of Vivisection is a book written by Mark Thornhill and published in 1885. The book explores the ethical and moral implications of vivisection, which is the practice of using live animals for scientific experimentation. Thornhill argues that vivisection is not only cruel and inhumane, but also unnecessary for scientific progress. He presents a detailed critique of the arguments used by proponents of vivisection and advocates for alternative methods of scientific research that do not involve the use of animals. The book is a seminal work in the history of animal rights and has influenced debates on the topic for over a century. It is a must-read for anyone interested in the ethics of animal experimentation and the broader issues of animal welfare. This scarce antiquarian book is a facsimile reprint of the old original and may contain some imperfections such as library marks and notations.
