Kurzbeschreibung des Verlags

The New Europe: Some Essays In Reconstruction is a book written by Arnold Joseph Toynbee and published in 1916. The book is a collection of essays that discuss the rebuilding of Europe after the First World War. Toynbee was a British historian and philosopher who was interested in the political and social changes that were taking place in Europe at the time. In this book, he analyzes the causes of the war and proposes solutions for the reconstruction of Europe. Toynbee argues that the war was caused by a failure of leadership and a lack of understanding between nations. He suggests that the solution to this problem is the creation of a new Europe, based on cooperation and mutual understanding. Toynbee also discusses the role of religion and culture in the reconstruction of Europe, and the importance of education and social reform. The New Europe: Some Essays In Reconstruction is a thought-provoking book that provides a unique perspective on the challenges facing Europe in the aftermath of the First World War.This scarce antiquarian book is a facsimile reprint of the old original and may contain some imperfections such as library marks and notations.
