The Sevenfold I Am is a book written by Thomas Marjoribanks and first published in 1913. The book is a spiritual exploration of the seven statements made by Jesus in the Gospel of John, where he describes himself as ""I am"" followed by a different metaphorical descriptor. The seven descriptors are ""the bread of life"", ""the light of the world"", ""the door"", ""the good shepherd"", ""the resurrection and the life"", ""the way, the truth, and the life"", and ""the true vine"". Marjoribanks delves into each of these statements and explores their meaning and significance within the context of Christian theology and spirituality. He draws on a range of biblical texts, as well as the writings of theologians and mystics throughout history, to provide a comprehensive and insightful analysis of each of the seven descriptors. The Sevenfold I Am is a thought-provoking and inspiring book that offers readers a deeper understanding of Jesus' teachings and the spiritual significance of his self-descriptions.
