Kurzbeschreibung des Verlags

Protestantism In Peril! A Commentary On The Tractarian Tendencies Of The Age, Romish Proselytism And Perversion, Evidenced By Facts (1865) is a book written by Felix John Hamel. The book is a commentary on the state of Protestantism in the mid-19th century, specifically focusing on the rise of Tractarianism and the perceived threat of Roman Catholicism. Hamel argues that Tractarianism, a movement within the Church of England that sought to restore Catholic traditions and practices, was a dangerous threat to the Protestant faith. He also discusses the perceived threat of Roman Catholicism, which he sees as attempting to convert Protestants to their faith. The book provides evidence for these claims through a series of historical and contemporary examples. Overall, Protestantism In Peril! is a warning against what Hamel sees as the erosion of the Protestant faith and a call to action for Protestants to defend their beliefs. And A Popular Exposition Of The Law Relating To The Services Of The Church Of England, With Propositions For Practical Measures Of Redress, Demanding The Cooperation Of Protestant Christians Of Every Denomination. This scarce antiquarian book is a facsimile reprint of the old original and may contain some imperfections such as library marks and notations.
