Kurzbeschreibung des Verlags

""Remarks On The Rise, Use, And Unlawfulness Of Creeds And Confessions Of Faith, In The Church Of God"" is a book written by John Mason Duncan and published in 1825. The book is a critical examination of the use of creeds and confessions of faith in the Christian church. Duncan explores the historical development of creeds and confessions, arguing that they were originally intended to be tools for unity and clarity in doctrine, but have since become divisive and legalistic. He also examines the biblical basis for creeds and confessions, arguing that they are not necessary for salvation and may even be in conflict with the freedom of conscience that is central to Christian faith. The book is a thought-provoking exploration of a controversial topic that continues to be debated in Christian circles today. In Two Parts. This scarce antiquarian book is a facsimile reprint of the old original and may contain some imperfections such as library marks and notations.
