Kurzbeschreibung des Verlags

""The Trade Union Woman"" is a book written by Alice Henry and published in 1915. The book explores the role of women in the labor movement at the turn of the 20th century, focusing on their struggles and achievements in the fight for better working conditions and fair wages. Henry, an Australian-born feminist and labor activist, draws on her own experiences as a union organizer and journalist to provide a firsthand account of the challenges faced by women in the workforce. She argues that women's participation in the labor movement is essential to achieving social and economic justice for all workers, and advocates for greater recognition of women's contributions to the cause. The book is a seminal work in the history of women's labor activism, and remains relevant today as a testament to the ongoing struggle for gender equality in the workplace. This scarce antiquarian book is a facsimile reprint of the old original and may contain some imperfections such as library marks and notations.
