Kurzbeschreibung des Verlags

""The Letters of the Martyrs"" is a collection of letters written by Christian martyrs during the 16th century. The letters were collected and published in 1564 by Miles Coverdale, an English Protestant reformer and Bible translator. The book contains letters from notable figures such as William Tyndale, John Frith, and Anne Askew, who were all persecuted for their beliefs during the reign of Queen Mary I of England. The letters serve as a testament to the courage and faith of these individuals in the face of persecution and death. This edition of the book was published in 1837 and includes a preface by the editor, as well as an introduction by Coverdale himself. It is a valuable historical document that provides insight into the religious and political turmoil of the time and the sacrifices made by those who stood up for their beliefs. This scarce antiquarian book is a facsimile reprint of the old original and may contain some imperfections such as library marks and notations. Because we believe this work is culturally important, we have made it available as part of our commitment for protecting, preserving, and promoting the world's literature in affordable, high quality, modern editions, that are true to their original work.
