Kurzbeschreibung des Verlags

The Obedience of Faith is a collection of seven sermons delivered by Levi Silliman Ives during his visitations to the churches in his diocese in 1848-1849. The sermons focus on the importance of faith and obedience in the Christian life, and how they relate to salvation and spiritual growth. Ives draws on biblical teachings and the teachings of the Church Fathers to provide guidance and encouragement to his listeners. He also addresses contemporary issues and challenges facing the Church, such as the rise of skepticism and the need for greater unity and cooperation among Christians. The book provides a valuable insight into the religious thought and practices of mid-19th century America, and remains a relevant and inspiring resource for Christians today. This scarce antiquarian book is a facsimile reprint of the old original and may contain some imperfections such as library marks and notations.
