Kurzbeschreibung des Verlags

The Psalms and Hymns of Isaac Watts V2 is a book published in 1821 by the famous English hymn writer, Isaac Watts. It is a collection of religious songs and poems that are meant to be used in Christian worship and devotion. The book is divided into two parts: the first part contains the psalms of David, which have been paraphrased by Watts to make them more accessible to modern readers, while the second part contains original hymns written by Watts himself. The psalms in this book are meant to be sung in church or at home, and they cover a wide range of topics, including praise, thanksgiving, repentance, and lament. The hymns, on the other hand, are more personal in nature and are meant to be used for private devotion or reflection. They cover a variety of themes, including God's love and mercy, the beauty of nature, and the joys of heaven.Overall, The Psalms and Hymns of Isaac Watts V2 is a valuable resource for anyone looking to deepen their spiritual life through music and poetry. It is a testament to the enduring power of Watts' words and his ability to inspire and uplift generations of believers. In Two Volumes. This scarce antiquarian book is a facsimile reprint of the old original and may contain some imperfections such as library marks and notations.
