Kurzbeschreibung des Verlags

Claudius The Fickle Or Fickleness, Thy Name Is Man, Not Woman: A Comedy, In Five Acts (1869) is a play written by William Busch. The play follows the story of Claudius, a young man who is indecisive and easily swayed by the opinions of others. He is torn between two women, the beautiful and intelligent Agatha and the charming but flighty Lulu. As Claudius struggles to make a decision, the women around him become frustrated with his fickleness and begin to plot against him. The play is a satire on the fickleness of human nature, particularly in regards to love and relationships. It explores themes of gender roles, societal expectations, and the power dynamics between men and women. With its witty dialogue and humorous plot twists, Claudius The Fickle is a classic example of 19th-century comedic theater. This scarce antiquarian book is a facsimile reprint of the old original and may contain some imperfections such as library marks and notations.
