Kurzbeschreibung des Verlags

""Correspondence On Infallibility Between A Father Jesuit And General Alexander Kireeff, An Eastern Orthodox (1896)"" is a book that presents a series of letters exchanged between a Jesuit priest and General Alexander Kireeff, an Eastern Orthodox Christian, regarding the doctrine of papal infallibility. The book provides a detailed and thought-provoking discussion on the topic, as the two correspondents debate the validity and implications of the Catholic Church's claim that the Pope is infallible in matters of faith and morals. The letters touch on various related themes, including the role of tradition in the Church, the authority of the Bible, and the nature of the Church itself. Written in a respectful and scholarly tone, the book offers readers an opportunity to gain insight into the theological differences between Catholicism and Eastern Orthodoxy, and to reflect on the ongoing dialogue between these two major branches of Christianity. This scarce antiquarian book is a facsimile reprint of the old original and may contain some imperfections such as library marks and notations.
