Kurzbeschreibung des Verlags

""Ethics, Rational and Theological: With Cursory Reflections on the General Principles of Deism"" is a book written by John Grose in 1782. The book explores the concepts of ethics, rationality, and theology, and provides a critical analysis of the principles of Deism. Grose argues that ethical behavior is grounded in reason and rationality, and that theological beliefs should be subject to critical examination and scrutiny. He also examines the principles of Deism, which emphasizes the existence of a supreme being but rejects organized religion and supernatural revelation. Grose provides a detailed critique of Deism, arguing that it is inconsistent and fails to provide a coherent worldview. The book is an important work of 18th-century philosophy and theology, and provides valuable insights into the debates and discussions of the time. This scarce antiquarian book is a facsimile reprint of the old original and may contain some imperfections such as library marks and notations.
