Kurzbeschreibung des Verlags

Reflections On Revealed And Profane Theology, Addressed To Lord Brougham (1836) is a book written by Henry Peter Brougham. In this book, Brougham reflects on the relationship between revealed theology (the study of religious beliefs based on divine revelation) and profane theology (the study of religious beliefs based on reason and observation). He examines the differences between these two approaches to theology and explores the implications of these differences for our understanding of religion and its role in society. Brougham also addresses the challenges that arise when attempting to reconcile these two approaches to theology and offers his own thoughts on how this might be achieved. The book is written in a clear and accessible style and provides a valuable insight into the debates surrounding theology in the 19th century. This scarce antiquarian book is a facsimile reprint of the old original and may contain some imperfections such as library marks and notations.
