Kurzbeschreibung des Verlags

ÉLAN DIVIN proposes a simple yet demanding thesis: human desire is not a deficiency to be overcome, but the primary site of divine presence. Our longing for truth, goodness, love, and meaning is already a participation in God's own self-communication. Drawing on Sts. Augustine and Gregory of Nyssa, Maurice Blondel and Henri de Lubac, Karl Rahner, Bernard Lonergan, Gabriel Marcel, Edith Stein, and others, this book retrieves a participatory metaphysics in which God is encountered not as an external object, but as the infinite Horizon within whom every act of knowing, willing, and loving already unfolds.Moving gently between theology, philosophy, and contemplative prayer, ÉLAN DIVIN invites the reader to trust desire as grace in motion - an interior summons that precedes our seeking and sustains our becoming. Here, restlessness becomes holy, transcendence becomes intimate, and fulfillment is revealed not as possession but as ever-deepening communion. To desire God, the book insists, is already to dwell in God, who is nearer to us than we are to ourselves, and who draws all things toward their fulfillment in love.Moving gently between theology, philosophy, and contemplative prayer, OREXIS invites the reader to trust desire as grace in motion - an interior summons that precedes our seeking and sustains our becoming.
