Kurzbeschreibung des Verlags

Modern Immersion Directly Opposed To Scriptural Baptism, In Reply To Alexander Carson is a book written by John Munro in 1842. The book is a response to Alexander Carson's views on baptism and immersion. Munro argues that immersion is not the only form of baptism that is supported by scripture, and that Carson's views are not in line with the teachings of the Bible. Munro provides a detailed analysis of the biblical passages relating to baptism and argues that the practice of immersion is not supported by the Bible. He also discusses the history of baptism and the different views held by various Christian denominations. The book is an important resource for anyone interested in the history and theology of baptism, and provides a valuable contribution to the ongoing debate over the proper form of baptism. This scarce antiquarian book is a facsimile reprint of the old original and may contain some imperfections such as library marks and notations.
