Kurzbeschreibung des Verlags

The Uncensored Letters Of A Canteen Girl (1920) is a collection of letters written by Katharine Duncan Morse during her time as a canteen worker for the American Red Cross during World War I. The letters, which were originally written to her family and friends, provide an uncensored and unfiltered view of life on the front lines of the war. Morse's letters are filled with vivid descriptions of the people she met, the places she visited, and the daily struggles and triumphs of the soldiers she served. She writes about the horrors of war, but also about the moments of joy and camaraderie that kept her going. The book offers a unique perspective on the war and the role of women in it, and is a valuable historical document for anyone interested in this period of history. This scarce antiquarian book is a facsimile reprint of the old original and may contain some imperfections such as library marks and notations.
