Kurzbeschreibung des Verlags

""A Chinese Appeal to Christendom: Concerning Christian Missions"" is a book written by Shao-Yang Lin in 1911. The book is a plea from a Chinese perspective to the Christian world, urging them to reconsider their approach to missionary work in China. The author argues that the Western missionaries' methods of evangelism are flawed and ineffective, and that they need to adopt a more culturally sensitive approach to reach the Chinese people. The book also addresses the misconceptions and prejudices that Chinese people have towards Christianity and how these can be overcome. Shao-Yang Lin's message is one of mutual understanding and respect between cultures, and he calls for a partnership between China and the Christian world for the betterment of humanity. The book is a significant historical document that sheds light on the complex relationship between China and the West during the early 20th century. This scarce antiquarian book is a facsimile reprint of the old original and may contain some imperfections such as library marks and notations.
