Kurzbeschreibung des Verlags

Among The Welsh Hills is a novel written by M.C. Halifax and published in 1883. The story is set in the Welsh countryside and follows the life of a young woman named Gwladys who is torn between her love for two men: the wealthy and charming Roger, and the humble and hardworking farmer, Evan. Gwladys must choose between a life of luxury and comfort with Roger or a life of simplicity and love with Evan. As she navigates her feelings and the expectations of society, Gwladys must also confront the challenges of living in a small village where gossip and tradition reign supreme. The novel explores themes of love, class, and tradition, and offers a glimpse into the culture and landscape of rural Wales in the late 19th century. This scarce antiquarian book is a facsimile reprint of the old original and may contain some imperfections such as library marks and notations.
