An Address On Negro Slavery To The Christian Churches In The United States is a book written by the United Associate Synod in 1836. The book addresses the issue of slavery in the United States and the role of Christian churches in the perpetuation of this practice. The authors argue that slavery is a violation of Christian principles and that it is the responsibility of churches to work towards its abolition. They also criticize the pro-slavery arguments put forth by some Christian leaders, arguing that they are based on flawed interpretations of scripture. The book is an important historical document that sheds light on the debates surrounding slavery in the United States in the mid-19th century. This scarce antiquarian book is a facsimile reprint of the old original and may contain some imperfections such as library marks and notations.
