Kurzbeschreibung des Verlags

An Examination of President Edwards' Inquiry into the Freedom of the Will is a book written by Albert Taylor Bledsoe in 1845. The book is a critical analysis of the philosophical and theological ideas presented in Jonathan Edwards' work, Inquiry into the Freedom of the Will. Bledsoe argues against Edwards' Calvinist beliefs, which suggest that human beings have no free will and are predetermined to act in certain ways. Instead, Bledsoe proposes a more liberal view of free will, arguing that individuals have the ability to make choices and decisions that are not predetermined by a higher power. The book is considered a significant contribution to the debate on free will and determinism in theology and philosophy. This scarce antiquarian book is a facsimile reprint of the old original and may contain some imperfections such as library marks and notations.
