Kurzbeschreibung des Verlags

Child Labor in 1912 is a book published by the National Child Labor Committee in 1912. The book provides a comprehensive account of child labor practices in the United States during that period, with a particular focus on child workers in New York tenements and children working in the entertainment industry. The book includes articles and essays written by experts in the field of child labor, as well as photographs and other illustrations that document the harsh working conditions endured by children in various industries. The book serves as a powerful indictment of the exploitation of children in the early 20th century, and helped to galvanize public support for reforms that would eventually lead to the passage of child labor laws in the United States. This scarce antiquarian book is a facsimile reprint of the old original and may contain some imperfections such as library marks and notations. Because we believe this work is culturally important, we have made it available as part of our commitment for protecting, preserving, and promoting the world's literature in affordable, high quality, modern editions, that are true to their original work.
